Talkhooncheh is a city in the southwestern tip of Isfahan province and in the city of Mobarakeh. This city, which is known as the pearl of the region, is several thousand years old and contains historical monuments of different periods, including mosques with period architecture. Safavids mentioned old castles and buildings. The original name of this city was “Taleghan J”, which became known as Talekhooncheh due to the bloodshed of the Mongol people in this place. It was also the birthplace of Sahib bin Ibad, a Muslim minister. This city is also known as the city of castles due to the existence of many castles. There is a lot of quotations about the total number of castles in this city.  Other titles of this city can be referred to the land of Dar al-Momenin
