These workshops are one of the centers that produce carpet yarns and threads with plant and natural colors and excellent quality and offer them to carpet weaving centers.

The history of carpet weaving in Iran dates back to thousands of years ago and the inhabitants of the ancient city of Talkhooncheh have had the art of weaving carpets with wool for many years. After the migration of the “Yelmeh” Turks to Talkhooncheh, the kilims that they designed and wove inspired by nature, were combined with the art of carpet weaving of the people of this city and the carpet of Yelmeh design was created.

The raw materials used in Yelmeh carpet are 100% natural and made of fleece, and this type of carpet is dyed with vegetable colors such as walnut, onion, pomegranate and rhubarb. The yarn used in this carpet is also made of fleece.
